4 new starting offensive linemen and STILL getting sacked too much

And kudos to Daniel Jones who's still having some success despite being 3rd on the most sacked list

As for Justin Fields, maybe we should cut him a break

like I said yesterday. Browns have the better defense and they all showed up.

Cincy spent $$$ on OL free agents plus a draft choice and their OL is still ranked 28th out of 32 by one service. They have had plenty of time to "jell". Ouch.

The Bears have new management that "gets it" and will have over $100M in new cap space next year (#2 team does not even have $50M) , the players are trying out for starting positions now for next year, and then the team can plug in good FA's to put together a good team, finally. Oh, they also have some decent draft pick positions, too, first time in awhile. Team is unhappy now, losing Quinn and Smith hurts a lot in trying to win games but it is worth it, next year I see the Bears to be much much improved. Also, Fields has miraculously looked 1000% better their last 2 games.

They've been playing pretty well recently, but definitely not a good showing last night.

Pendulum swings, people overreact.

They'll probably play well this Sunday

Good thing Joe is still alive and able to walk.

Garrett and Clowney and a bad Cincy O line were the recipe for disaster last night.

Other teams don't have the Brown's pass rush.

maybe if he didn't hold the ball for 4 hours every dropback he wouldn't get sacked so much, a lot of pressure is a QB statistic, not a OL statistic. Why Brady, Manning, Brees got sacked so little in their careers.

different game when you can't throw the ball to a player and he just runs 50 yards for a TD

The OL still might jell, take a starter out, move one over and bring in a new starter. They need to figure it out pretty soon, though.

Joe can hold the ball too long sometimes but most of the sacks this season are literally edge rushers storming untouched and getting him almost immediately. Nothing he can do about that

If anything Joe has been looking at his dump off throw way too early and not letting plays develop. Though until last week he was having a damn good year again

The line this year is more talented but inconsistent. A lot more missed assignments/confusion

I forgot, how did you become a Bengals fan?
Grew up in Ohio, family full of long-time Bengals sufferers and influenced me. Ohio sports through and through.

Moved out to California only because I inherited a house and it has much nicer weather

Offensive line looked pretty good today. Run-blocking was best its been all year, and they gave Burrow enough time to be the surgeon that he is

Browns game the exception, not the rule. They got rolled 41-16 by them at home in Week 9 last year and record was 5-4. Ravens were 6-3. This time they take some positive momentum into the bye.

Offensive line has looked great. Three straight great offensive performances, all without Chase. Mixon has been out the last two, which were both road wins.

8-1 ATS last 9 games since the 0-2 start. Probably gonna be a home underdog to the Chiefs in Week 13

That Halloween game in Cleveland was just a blip it appears.

Tough schedule coming up though.
